Salary: $70–$80 per hour CAD

Role Summary

We are seeking a Technical Lead, Endpoint Engineering to support a large-scale Windows 11 and identity transformation initiative within a complex enterprise environment.

This is a hands-on technical leadership role focused on driving execution, aligning cross-functional teams, and owning key workstreams across endpoint engineering, security, and identity integration. While there is no direct people management, this role requires someone who can lead technically, unblock teams, and take full ownership of delivery in a fast-moving environment.

Key Responsibilities:

- Lead technical discussions across infrastructure, security, and identity teams to drive alignment and execution
- Own and document technical requirements, dependencies, risks, and integration points
- Act as the primary technical lead for endpoint imaging, application testing, and validation
- Design, build, and validate Windows 11 endpoint images, including repeated imaging/re-imaging for testing
- Troubleshoot application compatibility within complex, layered security environments (log analysis, root cause)
- Oversee software deployment and reporting via Microsoft Configuration Manager (SCCM/MECM) and Intune
- Support identity and access integrations across Entra ID and Okta, including troubleshooting and permissions validation
- Collaborate with teams on endpoint access, directory trust models, and user onboarding processes
- Ensure solutions meet compliance requirements while improving end-user experience

Key Skills:

- Expert-level Windows 11 endpoint engineering (builds, imaging, troubleshooting)
- Strong experience with Okta (administration and advanced troubleshooting)
- Hands-on experience with Microsoft Entra ID / Azure AD and integrations with Okta
- Experience with Microsoft Intune and Configuration Manager (SCCM/MECM)
- Strong troubleshooting skills across applications and security layers
- Ability to lead technically and work cross-functionally across multiple teams

Qualifications:

- Proven experience as a Technical Lead on endpoint or infrastructure projects
- Strong background in enterprise endpoint transformation or deployment initiatives
- Ability to work independently, ask the right questions, and drive outcomes
- Strong communication and stakeholder collaboration skills
- Experience working in agile, evolving environments
