About the Position
Reporting to the operations team, the Maintenance Manager works closely with a property manager as part of a two-person team. You will be responsible for a portfolio of 400 to 600 units and will play a central role in managing, coordinating, and executing maintenance activities.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage maintenance requests
- Prioritize and assign tasks to field teams (handymen)
- Oversee work: repairs, renovations, and tenant improvements
- Participate in major projects (roofing, full renovations, etc.)
- Handle emergency calls (evenings and weekends as needed)
- Coordinate with internal teams, suppliers, and partners
- Maintain a high level of service for tenants
Desired Qualifications
- Experience in property maintenance or building management
- Hybrid profile: comfortable working in the field and in administrative management
- Ability to “roll up your sleeves” when required
- Excellent prioritization and organizational skills
- Strong communication skills and a team player
- Ability to effectively manage sensitive or urgent situations
Conditions
