Were looking for a hands-on engineering leader to take ownership of product design, configuration discipline, and engineering change control in a highly customized manufacturing environment.
This role leads a team of 6-8 and sits at the centre of Engineering, Manufacturing, Quality, and Supply Chain, ensuring products are well-defined, properly controlled, and consistently executed from design through production.
What Youll Do:
- Lead product design support and new product launches
- Ensure designs are manufacturable, scalable, and clearly defined
- Own product configuration structure (rules, options, constraints)
- Strengthen engineering change control (ECR/ECO, revisions, releases)
- Improve clarity, consistency, and discipline in engineering documentation
- Lead and develop a multidisciplinary engineering team
- Act as key link between Engineering, Manufacturing, Quality & Supply Chain
What You Bring:
- 710+ years in manufacturing or product engineering
- Experience leading engineering teams
- Strong background in:
- Engineering change control (ECR/ECO/ECN)
- Drawing/revision management
- Configurable or engineered-to-order products
- Product structure or scope definition
- A proactive leadership style that drives structure and continuous improvement
- Mechanical Engineering degree preferred (P.Eng asset)
