Position: Family Law Associate
Location: Langley
Salary: Up to $145K + Benefits + Bonus

The Opportunity

Our client is seeking a Family Law Associate to join a growing team. This role is ideal for a motivated lawyer who is looking to build and develop a family law practice within a supportive and collegial environment. The successful candidate will have the opportunity to work on a range of family law matters, including both litigation and negotiated resolutions.

Key Responsibilities:

- Manage a range of family law files, including separation, divorce, parenting arrangements, and support matters
- Handle complex property division and high net worth cases as applicable
- Represent clients in court proceedings, mediations, and negotiations
- Draft pleadings, agreements, and legal correspondence
- Work closely with partners and senior lawyers while maintaining increasing autonomy over files
- Provide practical, client-focused legal advice

Qualifications:

- 2 to 5 years of experience
- Experience practicing family law, including exposure to litigation
- Strong advocacy, drafting, and client management skills
- Ability to manage multiple files and deadlines in a fast-paced environment
- Strong interpersonal skills and a collaborative approach to working with colleagues and clients
