As the Maintenance Technician, you’ll support the performance and reliability of production and facility equipment through preventative maintenance, repairs, and ongoing technical support. What you’ll be doing:
- Carry out preventative maintenance and repair work on production machinery and facility equipment - Identify and troubleshoot mechanical, electrical, pneumatic, and PLC-related issues - Perform equipment adjustments, calibrations, and component replacements as needed - Interpret schematics, manuals, and technical documents to diagnose equipment problems - Maintain accurate maintenance logs and update preventative maintenance activities within the tracking system - Respond to equipment breakdowns to minimize operational downtime - Assist with facility upkeep including plumbing, HVAC, and general maintenance tasks - Collaborate with production and maintenance teams to improve equipment performance and reliability - Follow all workplace safety standards and Lock-Out/Tag-Out procedures - Support additional maintenance projects and operational initiatives as required
What we’re looking for:
- Previous maintenance experience within a manufacturing or industrial environment - Strong troubleshooting skills with mechanical and electrical equipment - Ability to read electrical schematics and use diagnostic tools such as multimeters - Comfortable working in a fast-paced production setting - Basic computer knowledge and strong attention to detail - Understanding of workplace safety practices and procedures - Ability to lift up to 50 lbs. and perform physically demanding tasks - Dependable with strong attendance and teamwork skills
