Salary: $150,000–$160,000 / year + $0.70/km travel reimbursement

Our client is seeking an experienced Market Access Manager (West) to support access and reimbursement for innovative, life-changing diabetes technologies across Canada’s West coast. What you’ll be doing:

- Develop and execute market access and reimbursement strategies across Western Canada
- Build and communicate strong value propositions to support funding and coverage initiatives
- Partner with public payors, healthcare providers, patient advocacy groups, and key stakeholders
- Support reimbursement submissions and market access planning for innovative medical technologies
- Monitor provincial reimbursement, policy, and competitive landscape trends
- Collaborate cross-functionally with commercial, medical, and leadership teams
- Utilize health economics and outcomes research to support strategic decision-making
- Engage with government stakeholders, Key Opinion Leaders (KOLs), and healthcare decision-makers
- Support evidence-based market access initiatives and Health Technology Assessment (HTA) activities
- Manage multiple projects and timelines within a dynamic and evolving environment

What we’re looking for:

- 7+ years of experience in Market Access, Health Economics, Outcomes Research, Patient-Reported Outcomes, Quality of Life, or related functions within pharmaceutical, medical device, or consulting organizations
- Strong understanding of the Canadian healthcare system and provincial reimbursement environments
- Experience achieving coverage and reimbursement for new medical devices in Canada is considered a strong asset
- Working knowledge of Health Technology Assessment (HTA), evidence-based medicine, clinical study design, and health economics
- Strong strategic thinking and analytical skills with the ability to synthesize complex information into actionable recommendations
- Excellent communication and relationship-building abilities with experience engaging senior leadership, healthcare stakeholders, and government payors
- High-energy self-starter with strong executive presence and a proactive mindset
- Ability to manage multiple priorities and deliver results under tight timelines
- Strong understanding of finance, statistics, ROI, and business concepts
- Bachelor’s degree required; Master’s, PharmD, or PhD is considered an asset
