Location: 100% remote (candidates based in Canada or the United States)
Salary: $80$100/hour CAD (approximate and flexible; open to more senior candidates with higher compensation expectations depending on experience)

Our client, a Toronto-based B2B technology organization, is seeking an experienced Director, Demand Generation for a short-term engagement. This role is suited to a senior marketing leader who can quickly assess existing marketing activity, identify opportunities for optimization, and drive improvements in pipeline generation performance.
Role Overview
This is a hands-on leadership role focused on evaluating, strengthening, and executing demand generation initiatives across key marketing channels. The successful candidate will bring a strong blend of strategic thinking and practical execution, with the ability to step into an existing environment and deliver quick, measurable impact.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop and execute multi-channel demand generation initiatives to support pipeline growth objectives.
- Lead and optimize integrated marketing programs across digital, email, paid media, webinars, content, and other core channels.
- Identify opportunities to improve campaign effectiveness, audience engagement, and conversion performance.
- Work closely with internal stakeholders across marketing, sales, and operations functions to support go-to-market priorities.
- Analyze campaign performance and translate insights into actionable recommendations.
- Support coordination and prioritization of marketing activities within a small team environment.
- Contribute to improving processes, performance tracking, and overall marketing efficiency.
Qualifications:
- 7+ years of B2B marketing experience, including leadership exposure in demand generation or growth marketing.
- Proven ability to design and execute multi-channel marketing programs that support pipeline generation.
- Strong understanding of marketing automation platforms, CRM systems, and digital marketing analytics tools.
- Experience working in close collaboration with sales teams to support lead management and conversion objectives.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to interpret campaign performance data.
- Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.
- Experience in a B2B technology environment is preferred.
