Position: Customer Support Agent 
Location: Toronto, ON (Hybrid)
Salary: $34/hr
Job Type: 12-month contract (potential for extension)

Our client, a government-based organization providing essential services to the community, is seeking a Customer Support Agent to join their team. This role offers the opportunity to support customers with account inquiries, billing, payments, and service-related requests while ensuring accuracy, efficiency, and a high standard of customer care.

Key Responsibilities:

- Respond to customer inquiries via phone, email, and written correspondence.
- Investigate and resolve billing, payment, and account-related issues.
- Process account updates, billing adjustments, payment arrangements, and security deposits.
- Support collections activities, including account follow-up and payment negotiations.
- Coordinate with internal teams and external stakeholders to resolve customer issues.
- Complete administrative tasks while maintaining accurate records and compliance with company policies.

Qualifications:

- 2+ years of experience in customer service, billing, collections, or account administration.
- Strong verbal and written communication skills.
- Excellent problem-solving and organizational abilities.
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office and CRM or billing systems.
- High attention to detail and accurate data entry skills.
- Experience in a regulated industry is an asset.
