Quantum Technology Recruiting is looking for an ambitious and outgoing Business Development Associate to join our growing technology recruitment team.
This is an excellent entry-level opportunity for someone who wants to build a career in sales, business development, recruitment, or the technology industry. Previous IT recruitment or sales experience is an asset but is not required. We are prepared to train the right person who brings energy, confidence, resilience, and a genuine willingness to learn.
As part of the Quantum team, you will help introduce our technology recruitment and staffing solutions to prospective clients across Canada. You will connect with hiring managers, technology leaders, Talent Acquisition professionals, and HR teams to identify hiring needs and create new business opportunities.
What Youll Do:
- Make outbound calls to prospective clients and hiring decision-makers
- Introduce Quantums technology recruitment and staffing services
- Research target companies, hiring managers, and active technology opportunities
- Identify current and upcoming recruitment needs
- Book introductory and discovery meetings for senior members of the Partnerships team
- Build relationships with technology, HR, procurement, and Talent Acquisition professionals
- Follow up with prospective clients through telephone, email, and LinkedIn
- Maintain accurate records of conversations, opportunities, and follow-up activities in our CRM
- Build and manage a consistent pipeline of prospective clients
- Work closely with Quantums recruitment team to understand current market activity and available talent
- Learn about in-demand technology areas, including software development, cloud, infrastructure, cybersecurity, data, AI, and technology leadership
- Meet weekly outreach, conversation, and meeting-booking targets
- Participate in ongoing sales coaching, training, and professional development
What Were Looking For:
- Confident and professional telephone communication skills
- A positive, energetic, and outgoing personality
- Comfortable making outbound calls and speaking with new people
- Strong verbal and written communication skills
- Motivated by goals, results, and career progression
- Resilient and able to remain positive when handling objections or rejection
- Organized, dependable, and consistent with follow-up
- Curious about technology, recruitment, and business
- Coachable and willing to learn from feedback
- Able to work independently and as part of a collaborative team
- Previous experience in sales, customer service, hospitality, retail, recruitment, or a call-centre environment is an asset
- College or university education is an asset but not required
