We're looking for a strategic HR Business Partner who can create strong relationships, coach and mentor leaders, and delivering thoughtful HR solutions that align people strategies with business goals. What you'll be doing:

- Act as a strategic HR partner to Site Leadership, providing guidance, coaching, and support on employee and business-related matters
- Build strong relationships with leaders and employees while promoting a positive, high-performance workplace culture
- Coach and mentor leaders through employee relations matters, performance management, conflict resolution, and organizational challenges
- Identify opportunities for improvement and implement solutions that strengthen processes, engagement, and overall team effectiveness
- Lead employee relations activities, including workplace investigations, corrective action, disciplinary processes, and termination procedures
- Support labour relations initiatives within a unionized environment, including grievance management and interpretation of the Collective Bargaining Agreement
- Partner with leaders on workforce planning, recruitment, retention strategies, talent management, succession planning, and leadership development
- Support the development of leaders by providing coaching, mentorship, and guidance to improve team performance and employee engagement
- Provide expertise on HR policies, employment legislation, best practices, and compliance requirements
- Support disability management, WSIB claims, accommodations, and return-to-work programs
- Oversee payroll administration, employee timekeeping, attendance records, and HRIS processes to ensure accuracy and compliance
- Analyze HR metrics and KPIs to identify trends, provide insights, and recommend solutions that support business objectives
- Support employee engagement initiatives, recognition programs, and company events that strengthen workplace culture
- Ensure compliance with Employment Standards, Human Rights, Occupational Health & Safety, Labour Relations, and other applicable legislation
- Travel occasionally within Canada and internationally as required

What we're looking for:

- 5-7+ years of progressive Human Resources experience within a manufacturing, distribution, logistics, industrial, or automated operations environment
- 3-5+ years of experience supporting a unionized workforce, including grievance handling and collective agreement interpretation
- Strong employee relations experience with the ability to coach leaders through complex workplace situations
- Proven experience conducting investigations, managing performance issues, and supporting organizational change initiatives
- Experience with talent management, recruitment, succession planning, employee engagement, and leadership development
- Strong understanding of Employment Standards, Human Rights, Labour Relations, Occupational Health & Safety, WSIB, and related employment legislation
- Experience supporting payroll administration, time and attendance systems, and HRIS platforms (UKG experience is considered an asset)
- Excellent communication, coaching, relationship-building, and problem-solving skills
- Ability to influence stakeholders at all levels while maintaining professionalism, confidentiality, and discretion
- Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage competing priorities in a fast-paced environment
- Post-secondary diploma or degree in Human Resources or a related field
- CHRL designation is considered an asset
- Ability to travel within Canada and internationally as required for training, projects or meetings
