Our client, a leading full-service law firm, is seeking a Client Intake & Operations Coordinator to join their team. Offering a largely remote work environment, this is an excellent opportunity for someone with law firm experience who is looking to build their career in client intake and legal operations.
What You’ll Be Doing:
- Conduct conflict searches for new clients and matters, review results and communicate findings- Coordinate the opening of new clients and matters, ensuring all required information and documentation is complete
- Review engagement letters for compliance with firm policies
- Liaise with lawyers, legal assistants and other professionals throughout the client intake process
- Maintain accurate client and matter information within internal systems
- Provide additional client operations and administrative support as required
What We’re Looking For:
- 1+ year of experience within a law firm as a Legal Assistant, Law Clerk, Conflicts Administrator or in a similar legal support role- Strong attention to detail and ability to work accurately with confidential information
- Excellent organizational and communication skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities
- Strong Microsoft 365 skills; experience with Aderant or Elite is an asset
- Proactive, dependable and comfortable working both independently and as part of a team
