This is an excellent opportunity for a hands-on leader with strong inventory management, logistics, and team leadership experience to join a fast-paced operation where efficiency, accuracy, and customer service are critical to success.Key Responsibilities:- Lead and manage warehouse staff, ensuring efficient day-to-day operations and a safe, organized work environment.- Oversee the receiving, storage, organization, and distribution of HVAC and water heating equipment, parts, and materials.- Coordinate the loading, unloading, receiving, and scanning of serialized equipment into inventory management systems.- Ensure products and materials are staged and prepared daily to support installation schedules and prevent service disruptions.- Maintain accurate inventory records and provide regular reporting on stock levels, inventory value, and inventory turnover.- Work closely with installation and operations teams to ensure the smooth flow of materials, equipment, and documentation.- Support fleet activities by coordinating truck inspections and ensuring scheduled maintenance requirements are completed.- Monitor inventory usage and recommend inventory adjustments based on consumption trends and operational needs.- Manage inventory replenishment through suppliers and internal stakeholders to maintain optimal stock levels.- Prepare and process purchase orders for equipment and materials as required.- Verify installation paperwork, warranty information, model and serial numbers, and customer records for accuracy.- Identify opportunities to improve warehouse efficiency, inventory controls, and operational processes within a high-volume environment.Qualifications:- Previous warehouse, inventory management, logistics, or supply chain experience in a fast-paced, high-volume operation.- Proven leadership experience managing warehouse teams and daily warehouse operations.- Strong inventory control and materials management experience.- Excellent organizational and time management skills with the ability to prioritize multiple tasks and deadlines.- Strong communication and interpersonal skills with a collaborative, team-oriented approach.- Customer and vendor-focused mindset with the ability to build effective working relationships.- Demonstrated problem-solving abilities and the capacity to perform well under pressure.- Proficiency with Microsoft Office applications, including Excel, Word, Outlook, and PowerPoint.- Experience within the HVAC, construction, distribution, building products, or related industry is considered an asset.- Ability to lift and move materials weighing up to 75 lbs. with appropriate material handling equipment.- Valid Class G Driver's License.- Be flexible to be on-call for emergency situations.What our Client Offers:- Competitive compensation package.- Comprehensive benefits and retirement savings program.- Ongoing training and professional development opportunities.- Stable, growing organization with a strong operational focus.- Opportunity to lead a critical function within a busy, service-driven environment.To apply, please send your resume to Vanessa Tran at vanessa.tran@quantum.ca.
