Position: Property Manager
Location: Ottawa
Salary: Up to $74,000

Schedule
- Full-time, permanent
- Monday to Friday, 8:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m.
- On-call rotation required
- Multiple opportunities available, including fixed-site and roving portfolios
Our client, a well-established commercial real estate organization, is seeking a Building Manager to oversee the day-to-day operations of several of thier properties. This role is responsible for maintaining building operations, coordinating contractors, responding to tenant needs, and ensuring building systems operate efficiently and safely.
Requirements
- Ability to obtain required security clearance
- Ability to participate in an on-call rotation
- Experience working with building systems, including HVAC, mechanical, and electrical systems
- Strong organizational and customer service skills
Qualifications
- 1-5 years of experience in building operations, facilities management, property management, or a related field
- Experience in commercial, industrial, retail, or institutional environments preferred
- Experience managing contractors and service providers
- BES, SMT, or Stationary Engineer certification considered an asset
- Commercial property management experience considered an asset
- Bilingualism (English/French) considered an asset
Responsibilities
- Oversee daily building operations
- Coordinate maintenance, repairs, and preventative maintenance activities
- Manage contractors and service providers
- Respond to tenant service requests and operational issues
- Conduct regular property inspections
- Monitor HVAC, mechanical, electrical, security, and life safety systems
- Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations and company standards
- Support emergency response activities as required
