Our client is looking for Warehouse Technicians to join their team in Burlington! This is a hands-on opportunity for someone who enjoys working with both hardware and technology and wants to develop their technical troubleshooting skills.
In this role, you’ll work alongside Field Technicians to prepare, test, troubleshoot, repair, and maintain innovative smart shopping carts before they are delivered to retail locations. You’ll become a subject matter expert on the cart components, hardware, software, and construction while helping ensure every cart is ready for use.

What You’ll Be Doing
- Receive, unpack, and inspect incoming smart carts and equipment to confirm everything is in proper condition- Prepare carts for deployment by installing, configuring, and testing required hardware and software
- Inspect completed carts before shipment to ensure they are functioning properly and meet quality standards
- Safely package carts and equipment for delivery to retail locations
- Diagnose hardware, software, connectivity, and electrical issues and determine the appropriate solution
- Use internal support and ticketing systems to document technical issues, resolutions, and feedback
- Work with engineering and software teams to communicate recurring issues and help identify improvements
- Develop strong knowledge of cart components, wiring, electrical systems, chargers, and other related equipment
- Perform basic electrical repairs, including accessing hardware modules and replacing faulty components when required
- Configure Wi-Fi connections and assist with router and network setup
- Test and verify cart weighing systems to ensure they meet applicable Weights & Measures requirements
- Maintain accurate records of equipment, components, and serial numbers throughout the warehouse process
- Use hand and battery-powered tools to complete assembly, maintenance, and repair tasks
- Move and position equipment using powered stackers and pallet jacks while following workplace safety procedures
- Assist with onboarding and training other warehouse and field technicians on equipment, processes, and troubleshooting
- Provide technical guidance to team members when questions arise regarding cart hardware or functionality
- Identify opportunities to improve warehouse processes and share practical feedback with the broader team
- Follow established procedures, work instructions, and safety requirements to ensure work is completed accurately and efficiently
What You Bring
- Previous experience in a warehouse, technical support, electronics, hardware, or similar hands-on environment
- Knowledge of Wi-Fi setup/configuration and router wiring
- Comfortable working with wires, electronic components, hardware, and technical equipment
- Ability to troubleshoot and identify hardware issues
- Experience using battery-operated power tools
- Ability to operate powered stackers and pallet jacks
- Walkie license/certification required
- Ability to lift up to 40 kg
- Ability to work safely and effectively in a warehouse environment
- Strong attention to detail, particularly when tracking materials and serial numbers
- Comfortable learning new hardware and software technologies
- Familiarity with Slack, Google Sheets, email, or similar communication/documentation tools is an asset
- Strong organizational, verbal, and written communication skills
- Ability to follow established procedures and instructions
- Customer-focused and solutions-oriented approach
- Reliable, meticulous, and willing to learn
