We are seeking an experienced Senior Family Law Clerk to join our legal team. The successful candidate will have strong knowledge of Ontario family law procedures, excellent organizational and client-management skills, and the ability to independently manage files from intake through resolution.

This is an excellent opportunity for a knowledgeable and detail-oriented Family Law Clerk looking to take on a senior-level role within a collaborative legal environment.

Key Responsibilities:

- Manage family law files from intake through various stages of the litigation process.

- Draft, prepare, and revise legal documents, correspondence, pleadings, financial statements, court forms, and other family law materials.
- Prepare and organize materials for court appearances, motions, conferences, and other proceedings.
- Maintain regular communication with clients and provide professional, responsive client service.
- Manage deadlines, limitation dates, court dates, and file requirements.
- Prepare and organize disclosure and supporting documentation.
- Assist lawyers with file preparation and case management.
- Maintain accurate and organized electronic and physical files.
- Use DivorceMate for calculations, forms, and family law documentation.
- Apply a strong working knowledge of the Ontario Family Law Rules and applicable procedures.
- Communicate with opposing counsel, courts, clients, and other relevant parties as required.
- Handle multiple files and competing priorities while maintaining accuracy and attention to detail.

Qualifications & Experience

- Several years of experience as a Family Law Clerk in an Ontario law firm environment.
- Strong working knowledge of Ontario Family Law Rules and procedures.
- Proficiency with DivorceMate.
- Strong legal drafting and document-preparation skills.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Strong client-management and interpersonal skills.
- Highly organized with exceptional attention to detail.
- Ability to work independently while supporting lawyers and the broader legal team.
- Strong time-management skills and the ability to prioritize multiple deadlines.
- Experience with family law litigation, separation agreements, financial disclosure, and court processes is an asset.
