Notre client, une entreprise bien établie et en pleine croissance dans le secteur du vêtement, est à la recherche d’un contrôleur adjoint expérimenté pour rejoindre son équipe comptable à Ville Saint-Laurent.

Il s'agit d'un poste permanent à temps partiel offrant une semaine de travail de 3 jours, idéal pour un professionnel de la comptabilité expérimenté à la recherche de flexibilité tout en continuant à évoluer dans un environnement comptable pratique et varié.

Responsabilités principales :

- Superviser les activités comptables quotidiennes, notamment les comptes fournisseurs, les comptes clients, le crédit et la facturation.

- Préparer les rapports de ventes quotidiens et les informations financières à l'intention de la haute direction.
- Traiter les lettres de crédit, les virements bancaires et autres transactions bancaires.
- Préparer les rapports mensuels sur les commissions et effectuer les rapprochements bancaires.
- Surveiller le calcul des coûts des stocks et enquêter sur les écarts afin d’assurer l’exactitude des registres financiers.
- Comptabiliser les marchandises en transit et effectuer des analyses de marge brute.
- Participer à la clôture mensuelle et à la préparation des états financiers.
- Tenir à jour les registres comptables, y compris ceux des immobilisations et des comptes de charges payées d’avance.
- Préparer et produire les déclarations mensuelles de la TPS/TVQ.
- Effectuer le rapprochement des soldes interentreprises et des comptes du grand livre.
- Préparer et passer les écritures comptables et participer aux diverses procédures comptables de fin de mois.
- Apporter son soutien lors des inventaires de fin d’année et des vérifications.
- Participer aux vérifications internes et externes en préparant les documents justificatifs et les tableaux.
- Préparer des rapports financiers et des analyses à l’intention de la haute direction.
- Apporter un soutien pour diverses tâches comptables et administratives, au besoin.

Qualifications :

- Études postsecondaires en comptabilité, en finance, en administration des affaires ou dans un domaine connexe.

- Au moins 3 ans d’expérience pertinente en comptabilité.
- Solides connaissances du cycle complet de la comptabilité et de l’information financière.
- Excellentes compétences organisationnelles et capacité à gérer plusieurs priorités et échéances.
- Souci du détail et esprit analytique, avec un haut niveau de précision et de discrétion.
- Capacité à travailler de façon autonome tout en collaborant efficacement au sein d’une petite équipe.
- Solides compétences en Microsoft Office, notamment en Excel (niveau intermédiaire à avancé).
- Expérience avec Richter/PVX ou un autre progiciel de gestion comptable (ERP), un atout.
- Expérience dans l’industrie du vêtement ou de la mode, un atout.
- Solides compétences en communication en français.

Our client, a well-established and growing company in the apparel industry, is looking for an experienced Assistant Controller to join its accounting team in Ville Saint-Laurent.

This is a permanent part-time opportunity offering a 3-day workweek, ideal for an experienced accounting professional looking for flexibility while remaining involved in a hands-on and varied accounting environment.

Key Responsibilities:

- Oversee day-to-day accounting activities, including accounts payable, accounts receivable, credit and invoicing.
- Prepare daily sales reports and financial information for senior management.
- Process letters of credit, wire transfers and other banking transactions.
- Prepare monthly commission reports and perform bank reconciliations.
- Monitor inventory costing and investigate discrepancies to ensure accurate financial records.
- Account for goods in transit and perform gross margin analysis.
- Assist with month-end closing and the preparation of financial statements.
- Maintain accounting schedules, including fixed assets and prepaid/expense accounts.
- Prepare and file monthly GST/QST returns.
- Reconcile intercompany balances and general ledger accounts.
- Prepare and post journal entries and assist with various month-end accounting procedures.
- Support year-end inventory counts and audit requirements.
- Assist with internal and external audits by preparing supporting documentation and schedules.
- Prepare financial reports and analysis for senior management.
- Provide support with various accounting and administrative tasks as required.

Qualifications:


- Post-secondary education in Accounting, Finance, Business Administration or a related field.
- Minimum of 3 years of relevant accounting experience.
- Strong knowledge of full-cycle accounting and financial reporting.
- Excellent organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities and deadlines.
- Detail-oriented and analytical, with a high level of accuracy and discretion.
- Ability to work independently while collaborating effectively with a small team.
- Strong Microsoft Office skills, particularly intermediate to advanced Excel.
- Experience with Richter/PVX or another accounting ERP is an asset.
- Experience in the apparel or fashion industry is considered an asset.
- Strong French communication skills.
