Salary: $120,000–$150,000 + Bonus

Our client, a well-established distribution company, is seeking a hands-on Financial Controller to lead its accounting and finance function. This is a key leadership role offering direct exposure to ownership and the opportunity to help drive the financial performance of a growing business.

What you'll be doing

As the Financial Controller, you will oversee the full accounting cycle while managing and mentoring the finance team. Your responsibilities will include:

• Preparing monthly and annual financial statements
• Leading the budgeting, forecasting, and variance analysis process
• Managing cash flow, treasury, and financial planning
• Overseeing inventory accounting and inventory controls
• Supervising month-end and year-end close activities
• Ensuring accurate multi-entity financial reporting
• Managing the annual audit and compliance requirements
• Strengthening internal controls and improving accounting processes
• Coaching and developing a team of accounting professionals

What we're looking for

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Accounting certificate
• 6+ years of progressive accounting experience, including experience as a Controller
• Strong knowledge of full-cycle accounting and financial reporting
• A proactive, hands-on leader
