Position: Solution Architect – Enterprise AI & Agentic Platforms
Compensation: $250,000–$280,000 base salary
Job Type: Permanent
Working Model: Hybrid — 3–4 days onsite per week in downtown Toronto
Role Overview
We are seeking an experienced Solution Architect to design and deliver complex enterprise AI solutions for a leading AI platform company helping regulated institutions modernize how critical work is designed, governed, and delivered.
The organization develops innovative AI platforms that enable enterprises to accelerate transformation while maintaining the governance, accountability, security, and control required in highly regulated environments.
In this role, you will translate business requirements into scalable, secure, and maintainable AI architectures, working closely with enterprise clients, technical stakeholders, and engineering teams. You will lead solution design across complex AI transformations, ensuring implementations align with enterprise architecture standards, business objectives, and platform capabilities.
This is a high-impact architecture opportunity for someone who combines deep technical expertise with strong client-facing communication and the ability to deliver enterprise-grade AI solutions.
What You’ll Own
- Design end-to-end enterprise AI solutions, translating client business requirements into scalable architectures incorporating agentic AI, orchestration, retrieval, and integration capabilities.- Define solution architecture for complex AI transformations, ensuring alignment with client enterprise architecture, technology landscapes, and business objectives.
- Lead architecture discussions with CIOs, Chief Architects, enterprise technology leaders, and engineering teams to drive technical alignment and solution adoption.
- Establish architecture patterns and implementation approaches for agent design, APIs, integration, security, data governance, and responsible AI.
- Collaborate with engineering teams and technical architects to ensure successful implementation, scalability, maintainability, and adherence to architectural standards.
What We’re Looking For
Must Haves:
- 15+ years of experience in enterprise technology delivery, including senior technical leadership and client-facing architecture roles.- Demonstrated experience designing enterprise-scale AI solutions incorporating agentic AI, retrieval-augmented generation (RAG), orchestration frameworks, API ecosystems, and cloud-native architectures.
- Deep expertise in enterprise software architecture, solution design, integration patterns, API design, and cloud-based technologies.
- Proven ability to translate complex business requirements into scalable technical solutions and lead architecture decisions across enterprise engagements.
- Strong understanding of security, data governance, and responsible AI within regulated environments, with excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.
Nice to Have
- Previous experience as a Solution Architect, Principal Architect, or senior architecture leader within a software, SaaS, or AI platform organization.
- Experience with enterprise AI ecosystems such as Azure AI, AWS Bedrock, Google Vertex AI, OpenAI, or Anthropic.
- Background in financial services technology or other regulated industries.
- Experience designing enterprise AI platforms, reusable architecture frameworks, and integration solutions that drive scalability and adoption.
