Our client, a leading commercial real estate organization, is looking for a hands-on Senior OT SOC & Systems Integration Specialist to build out a next-generation OT security operations capability across a large portfolio of properties. This is a backend engineering role working directly with the Senior Manager of OT Cybersecurity, for someone who has built OT security monitoring and automation, not just used it.

Key Responsibilities:

- Configure and integrate security monitoring platforms with the SIEM and SOAR tools, building the automated playbooks and workflows that route alerts and drive response.
- Onboard logs from OT and building devices (controllers, gateways, servers) into the SIEM, working with vendors and asset owners to see what each device can support.
- Configure and tune OT asset discovery, including protocol probing and scanning policies, and move detection from passive alerting toward automated enforcement with safety guardrails.
- Act as the Tier 3 escalation point for complex OT incidents, including root-cause analysis, packet captures and protocol forensics.

Key Qualifications:

- 7+ years in cybersecurity, including 3+ years of hands-on OT, ICS or building systems experience with protocols such as BACnet, Modbus or similar. Canadian experience is not required.
- Hands-on SIEM/SOAR engineering and integration: log onboarding, alert correlation and automated response playbooks (for example Splunk, Sentinel, Exabeam or Cortex XSOAR).
- Experience with an OT security platform such as Claroty, Nozomi or Dragos. The client prefers CrowdStrike Falcon for IoT and Palo Alto Device Security, but comparable experience is welcome.
- Scripting and API automation (Python or PowerShell).

This role sits at the intersection of cybersecurity, smart buildings and critical infrastructure, protecting the systems that directly affect building operations, safety, and reliability. Genuine hands-on OT experience combined with SIEM/SOAR engineering is required.
