Country Manager, Canada

An established international organization serving the commercial, institutional, industrial, and infrastructure markets is seeking a strategic and commercially minded Country Manager to lead its Canadian operations.

Reporting to international leadership, the Country Manager will have overall responsibility for the Canadian business, including sales, operations, financial performance, team leadership, and long-term strategic execution.

Key Areas of Responsibility

Commercial Leadership

Drive profitable revenue growth across the Canadian market.
Develop and execute strategies that expand market presence and strengthen customer relationships.
Support and coach a national commercial team focused on business development, strategic account growth, and channel effectiveness.
Identify emerging opportunities and market trends that contribute to long-term growth.
Strengthen relationships with distribution partners, key customers, and industry stakeholders.

Business Leadership

Assume full accountability for the performance of the Canadian operation.
Lead business planning, forecasting, budgeting, and resource allocation activities.
Monitor operational and financial performance while ensuring alignment with strategic objectives.
Drive continuous improvement initiatives that enhance effectiveness and scalability.

Organizational Development

Lead and develop a multidisciplinary team across commercial, operational, and support functions.
Foster a culture of accountability, collaboration, and customer focus.
Build leadership capability and succession strength throughout the organization.
Champion modernization initiatives, process improvements, and organizational change.

You are a proven business leader with a track record of driving growth within a B2B environment.

You combine strong commercial instincts with sound operational and financial judgement and have successfully led teams through periods of growth, change, and transformation.

You understand how to build market share, develop customer relationships, manage complex sales cycles, and align teams around common objectives.

Qualifications & Experience

Bachelor's degree in Business, Engineering, Commerce, or a related discipline.
Executive leadership experience with responsibility for business performance and financial results.
Proven success leading a business unit, division, regional operation, or country organization.
Strong experience driving revenue growth through direct and indirect sales channels.
Demonstrated success developing customer relationships and expanding market presence.
Experience leading sales, operations, and business improvement initiatives.
Background within industrial, technical, engineered products, building products, infrastructure-related products, manufacturing, or other complex B2B sectors.
Experience leading organizations through growth, modernization, or transformation initiatives would be highly valued.
