Our client, a well-established organization in the manufacturing and service parts industry, is currently seeking a Customer Service Representative to join their team. This role plays a key part in delivering exceptional customer support, managing order processes, and coordinating with internal departments to ensure timely and accurate service. The ideal candidate thrives in a fast-paced environment and is highly organized, detail-oriented, and customer-focused.

Key Responsibilities:

- Serve as the primary point of contact for customer inquiries via phone, email, and other communication channels.
- Provide accurate information regarding product availability, pricing, and order status.
- Redirect inquiries to appropriate departments when necessary.
- Collaborate with internal teams to resolve order-related issues and improve customer satisfaction.
- Manage backorders, coordinate shipments, and follow up on outstanding orders.
- Process and maintain customer records within internal systems (Infor/Syteline) in coordination with Accounting.
- Enter and process quotes generated by technicians.
- Support assigned key accounts by preparing estimates, processing orders, and communicating delivery timelines.
- Arrange expedited shipping when required and proactively update customers.
- Analyze order trends to recommend improvements to stock levels and lead times.
- Process returns for both customer and technician orders.
- Handle customer concerns and escalate complex issues to the supervisor as needed.
- Perform general administrative and support duties as assigned.

Qualifications:

- 1–2 years of experience in a Customer Service Representative or similar role
- Strong understanding of customer service principles and best practices
- Experience with order entry systems, preferably in a service parts environment
- Proficiency in Microsoft Word and Excel
- Comfortable using internet tools and internal systems
- High school diploma required
