Financial Analyst

Position: Finance Analyst – 1-Month Contract
Location: North York – On-Site (Bathurst & 401)
Salary: $30–$35/hour
Job Type: Temporary – 1 Month

Quantum is partnering with a growing organization seeking a Finance Analyst to support month-end accounting, financial reporting, and ad hoc analysis. This role will provide an extra set of hands to support the finance team, assist with reconciliations, data entry, and documentation, and contribute to reporting and financial insights. The position requires someone who can hit the ground running, work independently, and think critically about financial data.

Responsibilities:

- Support month-end close through data entry, reporting, and reconciliations.
- Investigate variances and assist with financial analysis.
- Build basic financial models to support reporting needs.
- Prepare and maintain filing and documentation.
- Assist with creating PowerPoint decks for financial reporting and ad hoc requests.
- Support other finance team initiatives as needed.

Qualifications:

- 3+ years of accounting or finance experience.
- Strong analytical mindset with problem-solving skills.
- Comfortable working with financial data and explaining results.
- Experience with accounting systems such as Navision, Dynamics, or similar.
- Advanced Excel skills and ability to build models.
- Independent, hands-on, and able to take ownership of tasks.
