Position: Medical Science Liaison (MSL) – Western Canada
Location: Remote / Field-Based (Preferred: British Columbia or Alberta) Travel: ~75%

We are seeking a Medical Science Liaison (MSL) to join our client, a leading global biopharmaceutical company. This field-based role offers the opportunity to act as a scientific expert, build relationships with healthcare professionals, share clinical knowledge, and support innovative therapy programs.
Key Responsibilities:
- Engage with doctors, nurse practitioners, and other healthcare professionals across your territory
- Deliver clear and accurate scientific information in one-on-one and group settings
- Support clinical programs, field-based initiatives, and educational activities
- Train internal teams on medical and scientific information
- Report field insights and feedback to internal teams
- Independently manage territory plans and medical-related projects
Candidate Profile:
- Doctoral degree (PhD, MD, or PharmD preferred; exceptional MSc considered)
- Entry to mid-level experience (up to ~5 years) in research, medical affairs, or clinical practice
- Strong communication, presentation, and relationship-building skills
- Comfortable interacting with a wide range of healthcare professionals, including nurse practitioners, dentists, and GPs
- Field-oriented, adaptable, and self-motivated
Travel & Logistics:
- Extensive travel across mostly Western Canada, occasionally to Ontario (~75%)
- Mix of car, train, or flights depending on territory
- Valid driver’s license and clean driving record required
