Night Shift Operator

Position: Machine Operator
Location: Etobicoke
Salary: Evening ($18.80 per hour) and Night ($19.35 per hour)
Shift: Evening and night
Posting Type: Open vacancy

Our well-established client is looking for an experienced Machine Operator to joint their team.

Key Responsibilities:

- Perform daily cleaning of equipment and workstations
- Remove lenses from packaging and verify accuracy against fabrication orders
- Operate  automatic taping machine
- Block lenses, manually associate jobs, and load the generator
- Polish lenses according to specifications
- Prepare lenses for quality control (de-block, wash, dry, and inspect for scratches)
- Act as a backup for all positions within digital surfacing
- Follow up on rush jobs and take necessary actions to meet turnaround times
- Conduct inventory counts of consumables when requested and report material needs to the supervisor

Candidate Profile:

- High school diploma
- Minimum of three (3) months of experience in a similar position
- High level of flexibility and adaptability
- Knowledgeable and detail-oriented
