Salary: $60-$70 per hour

POS Software Specialist

This role is responsible for the implementation, configuration, and ongoing support of GK Software Point of Sale solutions. You will work closely with cross-functional teams to ensure seamless integration with enterprise systems and support retail operations. The position plays a key role in optimizing system performance, enhancing customer experience, and driving operational efficiency across POS and related platforms.

Requirements:

- Configure and support GK Software POS solutions aligned to business needs.
- Collaborate with internal teams and vendors to integrate POS with enterprise systems.
- Perform system testing, troubleshooting, and deployment support.
- Monitor system performance and ensure reliability and uptime.
- Provide end-user support and coordinate issue resolution with vendors.
- Maintain system documentation including configurations and user guides.
- Deliver training and guidance on system functionality and updates.
- Act as a subject matter expert for POS systems and best practices.
- Analyze system data to identify improvements and support reporting needs.
- Ensure data integrity and adherence to governance standards.

Qualifications:

- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Business, or related experience
- 3+ years of experience working with GK Software solutions (implementation and configuration)
- Experience with retail operations and POS systems
- Exposure to enterprise systems such as ERP, OMS, or supply chain platforms
- Experience supporting large-scale system integrations
- Certifications (GK Software, ITIL, PMP) are an asset
- Strong knowledge of system configuration and integration
- Proficiency in SQL and data analysis tools
- Familiarity with data governance practices
- Experience working in Agile environments
