Our client, a well-established manufacturing organization, is currently hiring a Production Supervisor to lead frontline operations and drive daily production performance. This role is responsible for overseeing manufacturing activities, ensuring output targets are achieved safely, on time, and in line with quality standards. Partnering closely with production teams and cross-functional departments, the Production Supervisor will play a key role in fostering a high-performing, safety-focused culture while driving efficiency and continuous improvement across the operation.

Key Responsibilities:

- Supervise and coordinate production staff on shift, including task assignment, direction, and on-the-job support.
- Plan and schedule daily and weekly production activities to meet delivery, quality, and cost targets.
- Monitor production processes and equipment performance, responding to issues to minimize downtime and bottlenecks.
- Enforce OHSA and company health and safety policies, conducting regular inspections and addressing hazards promptly.
- Oversee in-process quality checks, ensuring products meet specifications and non-conformances are contained and escalated appropriately.
- Drive continuous improvement initiatives to enhance productivity, efficiency, and overall operational performance.
- Maintain effective communication with cross-functional teams including maintenance, quality, and senior leadership.
- Support recruitment, onboarding, and training of production employees.
- Track, analyze, and report on key performance indicators (KPIs) related to production, safety, and quality.
- Promote a culture of accountability, teamwork, and continuous improvement on the production floor.
- Ensure compliance with company policies, procedures, and regulatory requirements.
- Execute other duties as required.

Qualifications:

- 3–5 years of experience in a supervisory role within a manufacturing environment.
- Plastic manufacturing experience is considered an asset.
- Detail-oriented with strong organizational skills.
- Strong leadership abilities with the capacity to motivate and guide teams effectively.
