Position: Property Manager 
Location: Ottawa (On-site)  
Salary: $75 000 - $95 000

Our not-for-profit client is seeking an experienced Property Manager to oversee the financial and operational management of residential and office properties in Ottawa. This role is responsible for ensuring buildings are well maintained, compliant with regulations, and operating efficiently and cost-effectively.

Responsibilities:

- Oversee, inspect, and maintain designated buildings and properties
- Coordinate maintenance and ensure compliance with relevant laws and codes
- Develop and manage preventative maintenance systems
- Support annual maintenance budgeting and monitor financial performance
- Manage vendor and contractor relationships
- Maintain accurate records and documentation
- Address property issues, including urgent situations

Qualifications:

- Minimum 5 years of property management experience
- College diploma or equivalent education
- Successful completion of a Vulnerable Sector Check (mandatory)
- Strong knowledge of maintenance systems and regulatory compliance
- Ability to travel to multiple locations within Ottawa
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office
- Excellent organizational, communication, and problem-solving skills
- Familiarity with affordable housing and anti-discrimination legislation is an asset
