Position: Release Manager
Location: Toronto, Ontario - On-site
Salary: $110,000 to $140,000

Are you a hands-on Release Management Leader experienced in coordinating complex Agile releases across on-prem and cloud environments?

We’re looking for a Release Manager to oversee the health, strategy, and governance of production and non-production environments while leading release planning across a large enterprise technology landscape.

This role plays a key part in delivering a major IT transformation, ensuring smooth releases, environment stability, and strong DevOps practices.

What You’ll Do:

- Act as the technical SME for release management across on-prem and cloud environments.
- Own the environment strategy, including data migrations, refresh cycles, and scheduling.
- Coordinate releases with Release Analysts and cross-functional teams.
- Lead release readiness reviews, change control, and CAB discussions.
- Manage patching, upgrades, maintenance windows, and environment governance.
- Support Agile release planning and modern deployment practices.
- Ensure compliance with security, PCI, and audit standards.

What You Bring:

- 7+ years of experience in release management or related roles
- Strong experience managing Agile releases across complex multi-tier environments
- Experience with Jira, ServiceNow, and cloud platforms (Azure/AWS/GCP)
- Exposure to integration platforms such as MuleSoft or SAP HANA is an asset
- Background in enterprise retail or large-scale environments is a strong plus
- Experience with DevOps practices and environment management
