Salary: $50K a year + bonus & commission (potential to earn is $100K a year or more)

We are seeking a motivated and dynamic HVAC Outside Sales Representative to join our team. In this role, you will be responsible for driving sales growth by establishing and maintaining relationships with clients across various sectors. The ideal candidate brings strong technical HVAC knowledge, excellent negotiation skills, and the ability to analyze customer needs while delivering exceptional service. This role covers a regional territory primarily between Kingston and Ottawa and requires regular travel.
Key Responsibilities:
- Maintain and grow relationships while actively developing new channels of business.
- Perform some cold calling and prospecting activities.
- Manage sales channels, seasonal orders, and stocking programs.
- Process incoming bids and project opportunities.
- Prepare and present quotes and follow up on open quote reports.
- Work closely with inside sales and purchasing teams to ensure timely product delivery.
- Update and document sales calls and maintain accurate records.
- Report weekly on potential sales progress and pipeline activity.
Qualifications & Experience:
- Minimum 5 years of HVAC sales experience required.
- Background in hydronics, heat pumps, and refrigeration required.
- Hydronic pump experience considered an asset.
- Bachelor’s Degree required.
- Strong customer service mindset and relationship-building skills.
- Self-starter who can work independently and as part of a team.
- Proficient in MS Word, Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint, and Access.
- Valid driver’s license and access to a personal vehicle.
