Our client is looking for a Senior Engagement Manager to lead high-impact professional services engagements for enterprise retail clients. This role sits at the intersection of clients, commercial execution, and technical delivery, owning engagements from early scoping through contract execution, delivery, and close-out.

You’ll be responsible for ensuring custom implementations, integrations, and enterprise solutions are delivered on time, on budget, and in a way that creates measurable business value for both the client and the company. This is a hands-on, client-facing role suited for someone who has successfully managed enterprise SaaS professional services engagements and is comfortable owning budgets, forecasts, contracts, and delivery outcomes.

This role plays a critical part in ensuring enterprise clients successfully adopt and scale custom solutions while enabling the business to grow its professional services offerings responsibly and profitably. You’ll have real ownership, real impact, and visibility across both customer outcomes and commercial performance.

What You’ll Do:

- Lead end-to-end delivery of paid professional services engagements for enterprise retail clients.

- Scope, estimate, and price services work in partnership with sales, product, and engineering.
- Drive internal approvals and ensure engagements are commercially sound and clearly defined.
- Author and manage Statements of Work (SOWs), change orders, and contract amendments.
- Own engagement-level budgeting, forecasting, and revenue tracking.
- Partner closely with Legal, Finance, and Accounting to ensure contracts, billing, and forecasting are accurate and aligned.
- Act as the primary point of contact for enterprise clients throughout delivery.
- Build trusted advisor relationships and proactively manage expectations, risks, and dependencies.
- Clearly communicate timelines, scope changes, and delivery status to both internal and external stakeholders.
- Translate client business requirements into clear technical and delivery plans.
- Coordinate cross-functional teams across engineering, product, operations, and external partners.
- Drive execution with a focus on quality, speed, and accountability.
- Oversee testing, UAT, launch readiness, and post-launch support planning

Required Experience:

- 5+ years of experience delivering professional services, SaaS, and/or in e-commerce

- Proven success managing enterprise, client-facing engagements with complex requirements
- Strong experience with Budgeting, forecasting, and engagement financials, contract authoring and management (SOWs, change orders, fixed-price and T&M), cross-functional program or project management
- Comfortable working with technical teams and understanding integration-heavy SaaS solutions
- Strong ability to scope work, identify risks, and manage changing requirements
- Clear, confident communicator who can lead client conversations and executive discussions
- Highly organized, detail-oriented, and capable of managing multiple concurrent engagements
- Experience in retail technology, e-commerce, logistics, or marketplace platforms
- Project or program management certifications (PMP, Agile, ITIL, etc.)
