Position: Senior Environmental Engineer

Are you an experienced environmental professional looking to take on challenging projects and make a real impact?
Our client is seeking a Senior Environmental Engineer / Geoscientist to lead complex initiatives and provide expert guidance on environmental compliance and remediation programs.
Key Responsibilities :
- Oversee and manage environmental projects, including Phase I & II Environmental Site Assessments and remediation plans.
- Act as a Qualified Person under Ontario Regulation 153/04 for site assessments and excess soil management.
- Prepare technical reports, designs, and specifications while ensuring compliance with environmental legislation.
- Collaborate with clients and stakeholders to deliver practical, cost-effective solutions for environmental challenges.
- Lead project teams, manage budgets, and maintain strong client relationships.
- Support permitting processes and develop mitigation strategies aligned with regulatory requirements.
What We’re Looking For:
- Licensed Professional Engineer (P.Eng.) or Professional Geoscientist (P.Geo.) in Ontario; OIQ registration is an asset.
- Degree in Environmental Engineering, Civil Engineering (with environmental focus), or related discipline.
- At least 8 years of consulting experience in environmental engineering.
- Strong technical expertise in field data collection, sampling, and monitoring.
- Proven ability to manage budgets, prepare cost estimates, and oversee project billing.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team in both office and field settings.
- Valid driver’s license and access to a vehicle.
- Bilingual (English/French) is a strong asset.
