Position: Service Management CMDB Specialist
Location: 4 days onsite, Downtown Toronto
Salary: $110K-$145K

We are seeking an experienced ServiceNow CMDB professional to lead the design, implementation, and ongoing governance of the organization’s Configuration Management Database (CMDB). Reporting to IT Service Management leadership, this role ensures accurate, reliable configuration data to support service management processes, inventory visibility, and enterprise system integrations within a large, complex environment.

Key Responsibilities:

- Design, implement, and maintain the ServiceNow CMDB architecture aligned with ITIL best practices.
- Establish data governance processes to ensure accuracy, completeness, and integrity of Configuration Items (CIs).
- Oversee automated discovery, service mapping, and system integrations to improve data reliability and reduce manual maintenance.
- Standardize CMDB processes across business units and drive continuous improvement initiatives.
- Provide reporting, dashboards, and insights to support operational and strategic decision-making.
- Act as the subject matter expert and primary point of contact for CMDB-related inquiries and escalations.

Qualifications & Requirements:

- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or equivalent experience.
- 5+ years of experience in IT service management or related roles.
- 3+ years of hands-on experience managing a ServiceNow CMDB in a large organization.
- Strong knowledge of ITIL frameworks and best practices.
- Experience working in complex enterprise environments with system integrations and data governance.
- ITIL Foundation and/or relevant ServiceNow certification preferred.
