Position: Release Manager (ServiceNow Release Management module SME)
Location: 5 days on site in Downtown Toronto
Salary: Flexible ($90-$110 per hour INC)

We’re looking for a hands-on Release Manager to join a key initiative focused on strengthening release governance and processes.
While this is first and foremost a Release Management role, we need someone who can also act as a Subject Matter Expert (SME) for the ServiceNow Release Management module, specifically driving its integration with Jira.
This is a high-impact, delivery-focused role where you’ll shape how releases are managed end-to-end, while ensuring the ServiceNow platform is optimally configured to support those processes.
What You’ll Be Doing:
- Own and drive end-to-end Release Management processes and execution
- Act as the SME for ServiceNow Release Management module
- Lead the integration of Jira with ServiceNow to enable seamless release workflows
- Define and implement release lifecycle processes from Jira into ServiceNow
- Enhance release governance, visibility, and control mechanisms
- Partner with stakeholders to align process, tooling, and delivery outcomes
- Help define and deliver what best-in-class release management looks like
Must-Have Experience (Non-Negotiable):
- Strong background in Release Management (primary focus of the role)
- Hands-on experience with ServiceNow Release Management module
- Proven experience working within ServiceNow for release workflows (not just change management)
- Experience integrating Jira with ServiceNow
- Clear understanding of how release processes are implemented end-to-end in ServiceNow
Core Requirements:
- 5+ years of Release Management experience
- Strong experience with Jira, ServiceNow platform (with Release Management focus)
- Ability to design, implement, and optimize release processes and tooling
- Experience working in complex, multi-system environments
- Strong communication skills to translate process into practical tool implementation
Nice to Have:
- Experience enhancing enterprise release governance frameworks
- Background in large-scale or transformation programs
