Overview:
Our client, a busy commercial real estate practice, is seeking an experienced and highly organized Legal Assistant. This role is ideal for a proactive professional who thrives in a fast-paced environment and excels at managing administrative priorities while delivering high-quality work.
What You’ll Do:
- Manage calendars, schedule meetings, and coordinate day-to-day administrative activities for a busy legal practice
- Maintain and organize electronic and physical files, ensuring accuracy and timely updates
- Handle billing and administrative accounting tasks, including time entry and invoicing
- Prepare, format, and proofread correspondence and legal documents
- Support file management, compliance requirements, and documentation tracking for real estate matters
What You Bring:
- 2+ years of experience in a Legal Assistant role
- Completion of a Legal Assistant or Law Clerk diploma
- Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities under tight deadlines
- Excellent communication skills and a high level of professionalism
- Detail-oriented, resourceful, and able to work independently in a fast-paced environment
