Position: Taxonomy Administrator / Product Data Analyst
Location: Canada (Remote)
Salary: $28 per hour
Job Type: 6-month contract with potential to extend

We are partnering with a leading digital commerce organization to hire a Taxonomy Administrator / Product Data Analyst to join their taxonomy team. This role focuses on maintaining high-quality product data and ensuring accurate, scalable categorization across a large and complex catalog.
Key Responsibilities:
- Maintain and apply taxonomy structures across 5,000+ product categories
- Review and validate product categorization for accuracy and consistency
- Conduct research to confirm correct product classification
- Identify trends and provide insights to improve data quality and processes
- Curate catalog data, including correcting classification errors
- Support data quality and labeling initiatives
- Investigate and resolve catalog-related tickets
- Collaborate cross-functionally with Product, Engineering, and Operations
Qualifications:
- Experience with product data, taxonomy, or catalog management
- Background in eCommerce, marketplace, or retail environments
- Strong attention to detail with an analytical mindset
- Experience with data validation or quality workflows
- Proficiency in Excel; SQL is a strong asset
- Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment
- Strong communication and collaboration skills
