Position: Senior Data Analyst
Location: Remote (Canada)
Salary: $75-$90 per hour CAD
Job Type: 6-month contract with strong possibility of extension

Role Summary
Senior Data Analyst focused on financial reporting and analytics, supporting the transformation of a large-scale financial data ecosystem. This role works closely with upstream data teams to transform data from Snowflake into SQL-based reporting for revenue, billing, tax, and invoicing.
You’ll play a key role in building scalable reporting solutions, partnering with stakeholders to define requirements, and helping automate manual processes to enable faster, near real-time insights in a fast-paced, high-volume environment.
Key Skills:
- Strong SQL for building and optimizing reports
- Experience with Snowflake
- Familiarity with DBT for data modeling
- Power BI (or similar BI/visualization tools such as Tableau or Mode)
- Experience working with financial data (revenue, billing, invoicing)
- Requirements gathering and stakeholder collaboration
- Building, testing, and maintaining reporting solutions
- Understanding of data modeling concepts
- Ability to work cross-functionally with data and business teams
Qualifications:
- 7+ years of experience as a Data Analyst (or similar)
- Experience in high-volume B2C or fast-paced tech environments
- Strong experience working with large datasets and reporting systems
- Proven ability to work with stakeholders and translate business needs into data solutions
- Experience supporting data transformation or modernization initiatives
- Bachelor’s degree in a related field (Computer Science, Analytics, Business, etc.)
- Python experience is an asset
