Position: Automation Technician
Location: Newmarket, ON
Salary: Up to $38 per hour (licensed candidates start at $39/hr.)

What You’ll Do:
- Install, commission, and support automated systems (conveyors, material handling, etc.)
- Troubleshoot electrical and mechanical issues in a live production environment
- Work with PLCs, HMIs, and control systems to optimize performance
- Perform preventative maintenance and respond to equipment breakdowns
- Identify and implement improvements to increase reliability and efficiency
What You Bring:
- Minimum 3 years of experience as a technician in automation, manufacturing, or distribution environments
- Exposure to PLCs, HMIs, or automated equipment
- Strong mechanical and/or electrical troubleshooting skills
- Ability to read schematics and technical drawings
- A proactive mindset with strong problem-solving ability and willingness to learn
