Position: Director, Product Lead (Workflow Innovation)

Our client, a global organization operating within a highly regulated environment, is seeking a Director-level Product Lead to drive workflow innovation across a complex enterprise landscape. This is a high-impact, hands-on role focused on rethinking how work gets done, identifying inefficiencies, simplifying processes, and delivering solutions that significantly improve speed, quality, and user experience.
Your new role:
You will lead an agile squad focused on transforming internal workflows and platforms used by business teams. Working closely with stakeholders across business and technology, you will identify pain points, define problem statements, and drive the design and delivery of solutions that enhance efficiency and standardization.
This role requires a strong product mindset—you will own the backlog, shape the roadmap, and balance innovation with practical execution. Operating in a flat, collaborative environment, you will be hands-on in driving initiatives forward, while influencing stakeholders and aligning cross-functional teams.
You will also explore opportunities to leverage automation and AI to improve workflows, working alongside technical and AI teams to bring ideas into production.
Key requirements:
- 8+ years of experience as a Product Owner / Product Lead in enterprise environments
- Strong background in workflow or process transformation
- Experience identifying problems and delivering practical, scalable solutions
- Clear understanding of product vs project management
- Strong stakeholder management and communication skills
- Comfortable operating in a hands-on, individual contributor role
- Experience working in regulated industries (financial services, telecom, etc.)
- Ability to balance strategic thinking with execution and delivery
- Exposure to automation, digitalization, or process improvement initiatives
- AI literate – understands how to leverage AI/ML in a business context
Nice to have:
- Six Sigma or similar process optimization frameworks
- Experience working with internal platforms or enterprise tools
