What you’ll be doing:
- Build and manage production timelines to support operational requirements and customer demand- Coordinate production priorities based on inventory, order volume, and available resources
- Monitor workflow and make adjustments to maintain efficiency and minimize disruptions
- Partner with purchasing and warehouse teams to ensure materials are available when required
- Review inventory levels and identify potential shortages or bottlenecks
- Communicate scheduling updates and operational changes with internal departments
- Generate reports related to production performance, delivery timelines, and operational metrics
- Support process improvement initiatives aimed at increasing productivity and efficiency
- Assist leadership with planning analysis and operational reporting
What we’re looking for:
- 3 or more years of experience in a production planning, scheduling, or manufacturing coordination role- Strong understanding of manufacturing operations and inventory processes
- Experience working with ERP or MRP systems
- JD Edwards experience is considered an asset
- Advanced Excel skills with the ability to analyze and interpret data
- Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage changing priorities
- Excellent communication and coordination abilities
- Detail-oriented mindset with strong problem-solving capabilities
- Post-secondary education in operations, supply chain, engineering, or a related field is preferred
