Position: Law Clerk
Location: Downtown Toronto (Hybrid)
Salary: $37/hr

Our client, a leading organization in the financial regulatory sector, is seeking an experienced Law Clerk to support its Enforcement team. This role provides litigation and investigative support on complex regulatory matters, working closely with investigators, legal counsel, and external stakeholders.
Key Responsibilities:
- Support regulatory investigations through legal research, evidence review, and document analysis.
- Prepare legal documents, including affidavits, motions, pleadings, and hearing materials.
- Manage electronic disclosure, document indexing, and confidential information redactions.
- Coordinate court and tribunal filings, ensuring compliance with procedural requirements.
- Assist counsel during hearings by managing exhibits, evidence, and hearing materials.
- Maintain organized litigation files and electronic records throughout the case lifecycle.
- Liaise with internal teams, external counsel, courts, tribunals, and regulatory agencies.
- Prioritize multiple matters while supporting legal teams and meeting critical deadlines.
Qualifications:
- Diploma from an accredited Law Clerk program and ILCO membership (or eligibility).
- 5+ years of law clerk experience in litigation, regulatory, government, or law firm environments.
- Experience supporting investigations, hearings, and complex litigation matters.
- Proficiency with eDiscovery platforms, document management systems, and court filing procedures.
- Strong organizational, legal drafting, communication, and multitasking skills with exceptional attention to detail.
