As a Shipping/Receiving Representative, you’ll play a key role in supporting the daily workflow of our small, collaborative lab team in Victoria. You’ll help ensure that orders move smoothly through the customer experience area: tracking jobs, preparing shipments, and maintaining accuracy and organization throughout the process. This is a great opportunity for someone who enjoys hands-on, detail-oriented work in a friendly and fast-paced environment.
Main Responsibilities:
- Expedite and track jobs through the computer system, ensuring timely processing.
- Package and prepare shipments, including cleaning, invoicing, printing waybills, and shipping completed orders.
- Match and trace frames as time allows.
- Maintain organization in the customer experience area to ensure efficient workflow.
- Collaborate with team members to support daily operations and maintain a positive, cooperative work environment.
Qualifications:
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Basic computer skills (Windows applications, keyboard use).
- Strong organizational skills and the ability to multitask effectively.
- Team-oriented with a friendly, easy-going attitude and good interpersonal skills.
- Comfortable working in a fast-paced environment with minimal supervision.
- Experience in optics or shipping/logistics is an asset but not required—training will be provided.
