Position: Warehouse Team Lead – Afternoon Shift

We are looking for an experienced Warehouse Team Lead to oversee afternoon-shift warehouse operations and help ensure daily productivity, accuracy, safety, and service targets are met. This is a hands-on leadership opportunity for someone who enjoys working with a team, improving processes, and taking ownership of warehouse operations.

Key Responsibilities:
- Coordinate, prioritize, and assign daily activities to warehouse employees, including organizing and distributing customer orders
- Monitor shift performance and ensure warehouse targets and deadlines are achieved
- Provide direction, support, and guidance to warehouse team members
- Assist with onboarding and training new warehouse employees
- Operate Raymond Reach and Cherry Picker equipment as required
- Monitor and address operational or personnel issues and communicate concerns to Warehouse Management
- Ensure all warehouse procedures, policies, and safety standards are consistently followed
- Support inventory control activities, including cycle counts and maintaining inventory accuracy
- Identify opportunities to improve warehouse processes, organization, productivity, and teamwork
- Promote a safe, clean, organized, and team-oriented work environment
- Complete special projects and other duties as assigned
Qualifications:
- 5+ years of experience in a Warehouse Supervisor, Team Lead, or Lead Hand position
- 8+ years of experience using RF scanners
- 8+ years of experience with inventory control and cycle counts
- Valid Raymond Reach/Cherry Picker certification and license
- Health & Safety certification required
- Strong understanding of WMS applications and RF scanning systems
- Proficient with Microsoft Excel
- Strong leadership and interpersonal skills with the ability to motivate and lead by example
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Strong organizational, time-management, and follow-up abilities
- High attention to detail and a strong sense of urgency
- Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced warehouse environment
- Ability to regularly lift up to 40 lbs.
