Position: Parts Packager

Rate: $20.70/hour
Job Type: Temporary – Potential for Extension
Schedule: Monday–Friday, 7:45 AM–4:15 PM

We are seeking a detail-oriented Parts Packager to join our client’s manufacturing facility in Mississauga. In this role, you will be responsible for accurately counting picked parts, verifying quantities, and preparing them in boxes to be sent to the Packaging Department. The ideal candidate is comfortable working in a fast-paced environment and has strong attention to detail.
Responsibilities:
- Count and verify picked parts to ensure accurate quantities.- Match parts against pick lists or work orders.
- Place counted parts into boxes and prepare them for the Packaging Department.
- Ensure parts are properly organized and identified.
- Inspect parts for visible damage or discrepancies.
- Report quantity or order discrepancies to the appropriate team member.
- Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work area.
- Follow all workplace safety procedures and instructions.
Qualifications:
- Previous warehouse, manufacturing, packaging, or parts-handling experience preferred.- Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
- Comfortable performing repetitive counting and packing tasks.
- Ability to read and follow basic work instructions and pick lists.
- Good organizational and time-management skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Ability to stand and perform physical tasks throughout the shift.
- High School Diploma or equivalent preferred.
