About the Opportunity

We are seeking an Associate Data Analyst to join a fast-paced organization within the e-commerce and retail technology industry. This is an excellent opportunity for an analytical, detail-oriented professional who enjoys working with data, solving problems, and supporting business teams with actionable insights.

In this role, you will serve as a key data resource for a Customer Success team, helping translate data into clear and useful insights for teams supporting a broad portfolio of retail partners.

This is a high-volume, execution-focused role where priorities can shift quickly. You’ll manage incoming data requests, build and maintain reports and dashboards, investigate discrepancies, and ensure stakeholders have the information they need to make informed decisions.

The ideal candidate is someone who is comfortable working independently, has strong SQL skills, communicates well with non-technical stakeholders, and enjoys being the person others can rely on to get the right data into their hands quickly and accurately!

What You’ll Do

- Manage incoming data requests through a structured Jira intake process, including pulling retailer metrics, conducting one-off analyses, and presenting findings in a clear, stakeholder-friendly format
- Build, maintain, and update reports and dashboards using Mode and other BI tools, including supporting weekly automated retailer reporting
- Provide recurring data pulls and analysis across key business metrics, including: GMV trends; Conversion funnel performance; Cancellation and reorder rates; New customer/guest activation; Campaign performance
- Investigate data discrepancies, identify anomalies, and escalate issues to the appropriate Analytics or Engineering teams
- Partner closely with Customer Success Managers and other cross-functional stakeholders to understand requirements and deliver accurate, timely insights
- Proactively communicate request status, expected turnaround times, and any potential blockers
- Identify recurring data requests and patterns that can help improve reporting, processes, and future tooling
- Document processes and make ongoing improvements to how data requests are received, managed, and complete
- Help ensure stakeholders spend less time waiting for or troubleshooting data and more time using it to support their retail partners

What You Bring

- 3–4 years+ of experience in a data analytics, analytical operations, business intelligence, or data operations role
- Strong SQL skills, with the ability to independently write and modify queries, navigate unfamiliar data structures, and validate your results
- Experience working with Mode, Tableau, or similar BI/reporting platforms, with the ability to confidently modify and maintain existing reports
- Strong Excel and/or Google Sheets skills, including pivot tables, lookups, charts, and data manipulation
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to explain data and insights clearly to non-technical audiences
- Strong organizational and prioritization skills, with the ability to manage multiple requests in a fast-moving, deadline-driven environment
- A proactive, self-starting approach and the confidence to collaborate with cross-functional teams to get the information and resources needed to complete your work
- Strong attention to detail and a commitment to producing accurate, reliable data
- Experience with e-commerce metrics and/or grocery retail is considered an asset, but is not required

Why This Opportunity?

This is a great opportunity for an analytical professional looking to build on their SQL and business intelligence experience while gaining exposure to e-commerce, retail data, and enterprise customer success. You’ll work closely with business stakeholders, have the opportunity to improve existing data processes, and play a direct role in ensuring teams have the insights they need to support their customers effectively.
