Our client is seeking a skilled Bilingual Content Writer (English / French) to transform complex business topics into engaging, audience friendly content for webinars focused on international business, trade and export.
This is a fully remote role (Canada only), with a flexible 25–30 hours per month schedule. Ideal for earning strong extra income while you manage other commitments. You’ll work from anywhere in Canada on interesting, high-impact content for professional audiences, collaborating with a webinar production team and subject matter experts. This could be a great fit if you want autonomy, variety, and the chance to shape content that informs Canadian businesses operating globally, all without commuting or rigid hours.
Key Responsibilities:
- Investigate topics related to international business, trade, and export development
- Interview internal and external subject matter experts to gather insights
- Draft webinar scripts, presenter notes, and related written materials
- Create discussion questions for panels and moderator guides
- Produce transcripts and participant handouts/resources
- Research speakers, panellists, and relevant industry trends
- Coordinate with stakeholders across the webinar lifecycle
- Provide pre-event support to presenters and panellists
Qualifications:
- Post-secondary degree in Communications, Journalism, Marketing, Media, Public Relations, Business, Broadcasting, Media Production, or a related discipline
- At least 5 years of professional writing experience
- Background creating content for international business, trade, export, financial services, economic development, or similar fields
- Excellent research and interviewing capabilities
- Skilled at translating complex information into clear, audience-appropriate language
- Professional-level fluency in English and French
- Eligible to obtain Reliability Security Clearance prior to start
- Available for a part-time schedule of roughly 25–30 hours per month
- Able to submit two relevant writing samples
- Experience writing for webinars, broadcasts, podcasts, or script-based formats preferred
- Background in corporate communications or thought leadership content preferred
- Familiarity working with government bodies, Crown corporations, financial institutions, or trade/industry associations preferred
