Position: Finance Manager
Location: Calgary, AB
Salary: $95,000 - $120,000
About the Role
On behalf of our client, we are seeking an experienced Finance Manager to lead financial operations, reporting, budgeting, and forecasting activities. This role will partner with business leaders to support strategic decision-making, drive financial performance, and ensure the integrity of financial processes and controls.
Responsibilities:
- Oversee monthly, quarterly, and annual financial reporting
- Lead budgeting, forecasting, and financial planning processes
- Analyze financial performance and provide actionable insights
- Manage cash flow, financial controls, and risk management activities
- Prepare and present financial reports to senior leadership
- Ensure compliance with accounting standards and regulatory requirements
- Support external audits, tax reporting, and year-end activities
- Identify and implement process improvements to enhance efficiency
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field
- CPA designation preferred
- 5+ years of progressive accounting or finance experience
- Experience with financial reporting, budgeting, and forecasting
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
- Advanced proficiency with Excel and financial systems
- Excellent communication and stakeholder management abilities
- Previous leadership or supervisory experience is an asset
