Position: Fraud & Identity Specialist
Location: USA (Fully Remote)
Hours: Tuesday to Saturday, 11:30 AM – 8:00 PM PST
Salary: $15-$16/hr
Job Type: 6-month contract with potential for extension

Are you detail-oriented, analytical, and passionate about identifying suspicious activity and preventing fraud? This is an opportunity to get hands-on experience reviewing real customer and transaction activity, identifying potential fraud, and helping protect the integrity of a leading technology platform.

We’re looking for a Fraud & Identity Specialist to join a collaborative e-commerce team responsible for identifying suspicious activity, reviewing customer files, and ensuring activity on the platform follows established policies and guidelines.

Your responsibilities will include:

- Monitor and review transactions in real time to identify and prevent fraudulent activity.
- Investigate suspicious patterns, account takeovers, and potential fraud cases.
- Review customer appeals and manage incoming cases efficiently.
- Conduct detailed reviews of current and historical account activity.
- Handle internal escalations while ensuring timely and accurate resolutions.
- Identify opportunities to improve fraud prevention processes and operational efficiency.
- Perform routine operational tasks while maintaining accuracy, confidentiality, and attention to detail.

What We're Looking For:

- 1–2+ years of professional experience in fraud prevention, data processing, customer support, or a similar fast-paced environment.
- Experience with Salesforce or a similar CRM platform.
- Strong attention to detail and the ability to identify patterns or inconsistencies
- Strong written and verbal communication skills
- Ability to make sound decisions quickly when handling sensitive or complex situations.
- Ability to handle confidential information with discretion.
- Availability to work weekends and holidays as required.
