Position: Active Directory (AD) Consultant
Location: Remote
Job Type: 6-month contract
We are looking for an experienced Active Directory Consultant to support a major enterprise undergoing AD remediation and security enhancement initiatives. This role is ideal for someone who has deep technical expertise, strong problem-solving abilities, and experience stabilizing and securing large-scale Windows environments. You’ll work closely with security and infrastructure teams to strengthen identity management and support key remediation projects.
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead Active Directory remediation and contribute to improving overall security readiness.
- Enhance identity management processes and ensure secure system integrations.
- Support security-focused initiatives involving endpoint and vulnerability tools.
- Troubleshoot complex AD issues, including GPOs, domain trusts, and performance challenges.
- Provide clear documentation and communicate technical impacts to diverse stakeholders.
- Advise project teams on best practices for secure and compliant AD configurations.
Technical Focus Areas:
- Advanced expertise in Active Directory design, architecture, and troubleshooting.
- Strong background in AD remediation and security hardening.
- Solid working knowledge of Group Policy Objects (GPOs) and multi-domain trust relationships.
- Familiarity with modern endpoint security platforms and their integration with AD.
- Strong understanding of identity and access management (IAM) best practices.
- Experience operating in large, enterprise-scale Windows environments.
