Position: Air Export Specialist
Location: Mississauga (onsite)
Salary: $60,000 - $70,000

Our client, a leader in the logistics industry, is seeking an Air Export Specialist to join their team and provide exceptional customer service to clients while ensuring smooth and accurate processing of air export shipments.
Key Responsibilities:
- Support air export logistics, production, scheduling, and planning.
- Handle costing and ensure prompt invoicing to customers.
- Processes external billing based on quotations, established contract rates and standard tariffs.
- Handle phone enquiries and bookings.
- Provide the customer with quotations.
- Handle a full spectrum of export documentation.
- Apply the correct export permit and other export custom processed in a timely manner.
- Create commercial documentation required for export declaration and other regulatory agencies.
- Prepare weekly / monthly booking forecasts.
- Check on the Export Documents Compliance when processing the export work order.
- Track record of forwarding operations and customer service achievements.
- Be responsible for air export compliance.
Qualifications:
- Minimum 2-4 years’ experience gained within the Freight Forwarding sector specifically in Air Export.
- Formal academic training in related fields (CITT or CIFFA preferred).
- Strong communication skills (written and verbal)
- Ability to analyze documents, reports, and correspondence
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office and related systems
- Solid math skills (percentages, discounts, commissions, etc.)
