Position: Business Analyst, Pharma
Location: Mississauga, ON - 4 days per week in office
Salary: $35 to $40 per hour
Hours: Monday to Friday, 9am to 5pm
Position Type: 6-month contract with a potential for extension

Our client is seeking a Business Analyst with strong analytics and sales operations experience within the pharmaceutical or life sciences industry. This role supports business, sales, and marketing teams by delivering actionable insights through advanced data analysis and reporting.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop, enhance, and maintain analytical reports and dashboards using BI tools.
- Analyze data trends and translate insights into strategic recommendations.
- Support sales and financial analysis to drive market share, revenue, and margin growth.
- Prepare regular and ad-hoc performance reports for sales and marketing teams.
- Maintain data accuracy and integrity across BI platforms (e.g., MicroStrategy, Power BI).
- Manage KPIs, dashboards, and competitive intelligence tracking.
- Support business reviews and provide data insights for leadership meetings.
- Collaborate cross-functionally with Sales, Marketing, and Finance teams.
Required Skills & Experience:
- Prior experience in pharmaceutical or life sciences industry (required)
- Strong working knowledge of Python, Power BI, MicroStrategy, SQL, and advanced Excel models
- Experience with pharma data sources (e.g., IQVIA/IMS, PharmaStat)
- Strong analytical, data visualization, and problem-solving skills
- Ability to interpret large datasets and deliver clear, actionable insights
- Strong communication, interpersonal, and stakeholder management skills
- Proactive, curious, and self-driven with strong business acumen
